Community Standbys

RIT Ambulance provides a stand-by service for events on the RIT campus by request. All requests will be reviewed and where appropriate, be staffed by an EMT fully equipped with emergency equipment. The stand-by may also include an ambulance depending on the staffing needs of the event.

Community Training Classes

RIT Ambulance is proud to offer AHA and AHSI accredited training classes to members of the RIT Community! (Coming Soon)

Some of these classes will include:

  • Heartsaver® CPR AED
  • Heartsaver® First Aid
  • Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED
  • Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR & AED Training for Healthcare Professionals
  • Bleeding Control Basics (Stop The Bleed)

Our members are happy to provide educational seminars to RIT groups on campus. We are able to tailor our presentations to your audience. Whether it is basic first aid, safe drinking, or hands-only CPR, our team can deliver an interactive presentation to your club, team, department, floor, or even greek organization.
